Intermap Technologies Reports $1.8 Million Government Contract to Deliver High Resolution, Multi-Sourced Terrain Models

Intermap Technologies (TSX: IMP) (ITMSF: BB) today announced that it has received a USD $1.8 million government contract to provide current, high resolution elevation data and orthorectified radar imagery for an international project. The Company’s client will take delivery of its models and data immediately through commercial, off-the-shelf provisioning under our NEXTMap program. High resolution terrain models, derived from multiple sensor inputs, that are consistent, contiguous, and orthorectified, and available immediately, enable various government services, including topographic map production, 3D visualization, infrastructure development, telecommunications planning, safety of navigation, emergency response, and resource management. Our NEXTMap program and COTS elevation-as-a-service are available directly from Intermap or bundled as options in software subscriptions from our commercial partners, such as Global Mapper.

“We continue to deliver immediate, high-value geospatial solutions to our international customers, backed by our proprietary, high-acuity, digital elevation products available in real time under our industry-leading NEXTMap One program,” commented Patrick Blott, Chairman & CEO. “This award, and the rapid provisioning of complex, multi-sourced sensor data, covering difficult terrain and weather environments, demonstrate Intermap’s global reach and its ability to deliver effective solutions in a rapid response format.”
