Formed in 2010, the Southwest Innovation Cluster (SWIC) is a resource networking and business management entity that focuses on autonomous unmanned systems related to providers and suppliers of Battlespace Awareness, Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) technologies, alternative power and propulsion. The Subterranean project aims to develop innovative technologies that would augment operations underground. The SubT project collaboration will explore new approaches to rapidly map, navigate, search, and exploit complex underground environments, including human-made tunnel systems, urban underground, and natural cave networks.
