Alectra Inc. announced today that it has closed its private placement offering of C$200 million aggregate principal amount of 3.458% Series 2019-1 senior unsecured debentures due April 12, 2049. The net proceeds of the offering will be used to repay approximately $145 million of the Corporation’s outstanding commercial paper and for general corporate purposes.
The Series 2019-1 Debentures were offered in each of the provinces of Canada on a private placement basis through a syndicate of agents that was co-led by TD Securities Inc. and CIBC World Markets Inc.
